Jason Block Co-Founder


Jason is a Founding Partner at MAIORA Asset Management and a member of the Investment Committee. He helped establish the firm’s renewables & mezzanine finance businesses in 2012. Since 2012 he’s guided the firm’s investments in over 1400 MW of solar PV projects globally and expanded the firms focus on socially responsible investments with substantial return opportunities. Prior to MAIORA, Jason was a Director at Deutsche Bank in Tokyo where he helped establish Deutsche’s mezzanine debt business for non-recourse commercial real estate loans. Jason has over 15 years experience in financial markets and has lived in Asia for over 20 years.


He holds a B.A from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and speaks English, Japanese and Chinese.

Marzio Keiling Co-Founder


Marzio is a Founding Partner at MAIORA and a member of the Investment Committee. He focuses primarily on the renewables and resources businesses. Prior to MAIORA Marzio was Head of Sales for Deutsche Bank in APAC. Previous to that, he ran Equity and Debt Capital Markets in the region. Between 2008 and 2010, Marzio was responsible for Deutsche Banks Global Markets business in Tokyo and member of the Global Markets Management Committee.. Marzio has over 25 years of experience in global markets.


He holds a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering and Management from Technical University Berlin as well as Masters of Science in Management from M.I.T.’s Sloan School. Marzio speaks English, German and French.

Clay Kinney Co-Founder


Clay is a Founding Partner of MAIORA and a member of the Investment Committee. He focuses primarily on renewables and financings. In our first fund, he headed up MAIORA`s Japan entity, focusing primarily on Japan Solar and Mezzanine financing opportunities. Prior to MAIORA, Clay was the Head of Structured Finance at Deutsche Bank in Tokyo. He has as over 20 years of financial industry experience, spanning debt financing, equity issuance, M&A, and complex tax structuring, working for global financial institutions including Goldman Sachs, UBS, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He was a former Director for the Enex Infrastructure Investment Corp (9286.T).


Clay has a BA from the University of Oregon, a JD from Temple University, is in the Duke Fuqua MBA program, and has a post-graduate diploma from Harvard University`s School of Design. Clay is fluent in English & Japanese.

Erik Siddons Head of Legal – MAIORA Group


Erik, a member of the State Bar of California, serves as MAIORA’s Chief Legal Officer, managing transactional and corporate legal matters for the MAIORA family of entities in East and Southeast Asia. Prior to joining MAIORA, Erik founded Pan-Pacific Advisors, a Hong Kong based consultancy, advising U.S. corporations, on strategic investments and legal matters in Asia. He had previously spent ten years in private practice handling mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, cross-border transactions, and general corporate matters at leading law firms in Los Angeles, Taipei, and Tokyo.


He obtained his Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Political Science from the University of California at Irvine in 1994, and his Juris Doctorate with Honors from the Gould School of Law at the University of Southern California in 1999. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and has developed a basic competency in Japanese and Thai.

Jacqueline Zheng COO & Head of Compliance


Jacqueline has led Operations and Compliance for MAIORA Asset Management since 2017. She manages the organization’s vendor relations and acts as a primary liaison to the local regulatory authority. She has held previous positions in alternative investment accounting and Singapore compliance.


She holds a Masters Degree in Accounting from Singapore Management University and is fluent in English and Mandarin.

Zen Soh Compliance & Operations


Zen joined MAIORA in June 2019 in Operations and Compliance function. She has 3 years of experience in the private equity industry. Prior to joining MAIORA, Zen spent 2 years with Alter Domus Singapore as a Fund Accounting Officer where she prepares quarterly reports, capital accounts statements and statutory financial statements. She was also responsible for preparing capital calls and distribution notice and assists with investor on-boarding.


Zen holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the Singapore Management University. She speaks English, Mandarin and Teochew.
