Maiora Renewable Fund 2

MRF2 is a fund focussing on renewable energy investments, predominantly solar in Taiwan. The fund sources and develops solar or solar hybrid projects across Asia, predominantly in Taiwan. The aim is to develop and sell 1 GW of projects over the next 5 years & the fund has a substantial project pipeline in Taiwan. The fund is currently open for subscriptions until August 2019.

Christopher Peck


Chris is a Founding Partner at Maiora Asset Management and a member of the Investment Committee. He helped establish the firms resources and mezzanine finance businesses in 2012.. Prior to joining Maiora, Chris was an MD and Head of Risk Trading, Equities and Derivatives at Deutsche Bank in Tokyo. Chris has over 15 years experience in financial markets and lived in Japan for over a decade. He is the Founder of Annupuri Village KK, Niseko Hokkaido where from 2003 he’s been doing extensive investment in residential and infrastructure development. He sits on the board of directors of MMP Resources in Singapore.

Chris holds a BS from the University of Colorado, Bolder.

Clay Kinney


Clay joined Maiora in 2015 to head up Maiora Japan Research. He focuses primarily on Japan Solar and Mezzanine financing opportunities. Prior to Maiora, Clay was the Head of Structured Finance at Deutsche Bank in Tokyo. He has as over 15 years of financial industry experience, spanning debt financing, equity issuance, M&A, and complex tax structuring, working for global financial institutions including Goldman Sachs, UBS, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

He has a BA from the University of Oregon, a JD from Temple University and is fluent in English & Japanese.
